Policy Monitoring and Analysis
Facilitation of an organisational transition process for a globally active non-governmental platform including leadership training, governance consulting and management support. The project comprised: (1) Assessment of all strategic papers and reports available and identification of areas of conflict between the different actors involved (Board, team, decision-making bodies, funders) via interviews (focus and individual) and personal visits, (2) Development of a stakeholder map concerning all stakeholders involved in the transition process, (3) Assessment and analysis of the current governance structure, (4) Analysis of the managerial, juridical and financial capacities and competencies of senior leadership and the interaction between all stakeholders/ actors involved, (5) Preparation and implementation of strategy workshops, (6) Strategic support (including coaching of key staff) of the implementation of the recommendations and development of a concrete action plan including milestones and a monitoring mechanism for the new governance structure.
